We are nuts about you! š
If you have a husband like mine and they have a million nuts and bolts just lying around grab a few and make this adorable picture frame for him for Father’s Day.
What you will need:
- a board of any kind
- sandpaper or a sanding sponge
- handful Ā of nuts
- picture
- glue
- paint of any color (optional)
- paint brush (optional)
I sanded down the piece of wood. Normally I would use my electric sander but honestly I was too tired to put on my boots, walk all the way out to the shop. Plus my babies were taking a nap and I don’t like going to the shop and being so far away from them. That sounds better anyway so I’ll stick with that excuse. LOL
Then I painted it and let it dry.
I grabbed a handful of all different sized nuts. I thought it would add character if they were different. And glue them down using a matt finish Mod Podge. Gotta love that stuff! I use it for almost everything! š
I then use my computer to make a stencil. One of these day I might get a stencil maker like a Circuit but until then I do them by hand. I’ve gone into how to make a stencil in a different post.
Paint the word on.
Then again, using a thin coat of Mod Podge glue your photo onto the wood.
And your awesome, one-of-a-kind Father’s Day frame is finished!Ā
I hope you like this idea! It was so fun! š
Happy Father’s Day!
What have you made today?
