I LOVE YOU —This Much—

This card is super fun and cute to make. It can also be easy, ill show you how.

What you will need:

  • cardstock
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • color pens
  • Glue or tape

Draw your child’s hand on crappy paper first. If you have a little one like I do (7 months) you know they will hit the pencil. Mark the page up, maybe rip it trying to grab the paper and definitely move their hands so don’t worry about it being perfect. As long as you get the finger length and palm you can pretty much figure out the rest. LOL Projects are so much fun! LOL

Cut them out.

Cardstock is a must in any crafters supply closet. After you have them cut out and nice looking retrace them nicely onto your nice cardstock paper. And recut.IMG_5996

Now here is a little trick. I am not  typography major and my hand writing is not the best looking in the world. I type up what I would like my card to say and in order to make the font legable I use my computer as a lightbox. Turn the brightness up on the computer as high as it will go and trace the letters onto your paper in pencil.IMG_5997

Cut a strip of paper about 11″ long and 1″ high. img_5998.jpg

I LOVE Mod Podge! I use it on almost every-2Trace the letters in each block and attach the hands using glue. I love Mod Podge so thats what I used.IMG_5999

PensUse your colored pens if you would lke to make the letters pop. 😀img_6001.jpg

And you are all done! Finish it off with a custom envelope!IMG_6002

Cards are something we use all the time! but when you make your cards how do you mail them or give them? This pack of 50 has every color you could need!img_6004.jpg

Happy Father’s Day!

WHAT HAVE YOU MADE TODAY?
