This card is super fun and cute to make. It can also be easy, ill show you how.
What you will need:
- color pens
- Glue or tape
Draw your child’s hand on crappy paper first. If you have a little one like I do (7 months) you know they will hit the pencil. Mark the page up, maybe rip it trying to grab the paper and definitely move their hands so don’t worry about it being perfect. As long as you get the finger length and palm you can pretty much figure out the rest. LOL Projects are so much fun! LOL
Cut them out.
Now here is a little trick. I am not typography major and my hand writing is not the best looking in the world. I type up what I would like my card to say and in order to make the font legable I use my computer as a lightbox. Turn the brightness up on the computer as high as it will go and trace the letters onto your paper in pencil.
Cut a strip of paper about 11″ long and 1″ high.
And you are all done! Finish it off with a custom envelope!
Happy Father’s Day!
